The laying of METTEC CNC’s foundation stone in 2004 marked the start of our SUCCESS STORY.

The company commenced operations on a production area of around 800 m2. Thanks to its INNOVATIVE SPIRIT, METTEC CNC is now a leading provider in the field of metal working in Upper Austria.

A range of machines that fulfils every request enables the rapid machining of a variety of materials, from PLASTIC THROUGH TO SUPER-DUPLEX STEEL. The machining of forgings is also becoming increasingly popular.

In close cooperation with our sister company METTEC GUSS, we have developed into a SPECIALIST in casting production and machining with a focus on aluminium and red bronze parts.

  • 2004

    Foundation of Mettec CNC Metallbearbeitung und Gussteilfertigung GmbH by Mr Adam Schneider under the management of Mr Michael Schneider and Mr Christian Kirchschlager at the site on Quarzstaße 7 in 4611 Buchkirchen, Austria.

  • 2006

    Expansion of the production area to 1500 m2with the addition of a new hall.

  • 2007

    The constant growth and increasing success of our company led to an expansion of the site to Kalzitstraße 2 in 4611 Buchkirchen, Austria, at the start of 2008. A new build with a production area of 2300 m2was erected together with an administration building covering 700 m2.

  • 2008

    Inauguration of the new milling plant on Kalzitstraße 2, Buchkirchen, Austria.

  • 2010

    The machinery was constantly expanded at both sites; in 2010 this included the procurement of two heavy-duty machining centres from OKUMA.

  • 2012

    Turned and milled parts are machined at two sites by a total of 65 employees and 44 machining centres.

  • 2014

    Our 10-year company anniversary was celebrated by throwing a great party for our employees and their families as well as our partners!

  • 2015

    Acquisition of a nearby commercial site covering 20,000 m2by the proprietor Mr Adam Schneider. The erection of a production facility covering 7000 m2is planned together with a greater focus on mass production.

  • 2016

    Our company now has 80 employees. The range of services was expanded by the procurement of two centrifugal finishers and a laser machine. Introduction of ISO 9001/2015 and ISO 14001/2015.

  • 2017

    Successful certification in accordance with the new revision of the ISO 9001/2015 and ISO 14001/2015 standards.
